PDPA Notice

Our data protection and Do Not Call practices under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012.

Last updated 25 August 2026

Purpose of this notice

This notice sets out how VELOX MEDIA HOUSE PTE. LTD. (UEN 202641071Z), trading as Velox Media, complies with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”). It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes in more detail what we collect and why.

Data Protection Officer

As required by the PDPA, we have appointed a Data Protection Officer responsible for ensuring our compliance.

Data Protection Officer — admin@veloxmedia.site — VELOX MEDIA HOUSE PTE. LTD., 400 Orchard Road, #11-08, Orchard Towers, Singapore 238875

Our obligations

We handle personal data in accordance with the obligations set out in the PDPA, including:

  • Consent — we collect, use and disclose personal data with consent, or where the PDPA permits us to do so without it
  • Purpose limitation — we use personal data only for purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate, and which we have notified
  • Notification — we tell you the purpose before or at the time of collection
  • Access and correction — we respond to requests for access to, and correction of, personal data we hold
  • Accuracy — we make reasonable effort to keep personal data accurate and complete where it will be used to make a decision affecting you
  • Protection — we apply reasonable security arrangements to prevent unauthorised access, use or disclosure
  • Retention limitation — we cease retention once the purpose has been served and retention is no longer needed for legal or business purposes
  • Transfer limitation — personal data transferred overseas is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA
  • Accountability — we maintain policies and practices to meet these obligations and make information about them available

Do Not Call Registry

The Do Not Call provisions of the PDPA restrict sending marketing messages to Singapore telephone numbers registered on the DNC Registry.

We check Singapore telephone numbers against the DNC Registry before sending marketing messages, unless a recognised exemption applies — for example where the recipient has given clear and unambiguous consent in evidential form, or where the message falls within the exemption for business-to-business marketing sent to an organisation for its business purposes.

We are aware that a number listed for a business may in practice be a personal mobile. Where there is doubt, we treat the number as subject to the DNC provisions and use email instead.

Marketing messages

Marketing messages we send identify us as the sender and include a means of opting out. If you tell us to stop, we will stop, and we will not charge you for doing so.

To opt out at any time, write to admin@veloxmedia.site.

Making a request

To request access to your personal data, ask for a correction, or withdraw consent, contact our Data Protection Officer at admin@veloxmedia.site. We may ask you to verify your identity. We aim to respond within 30 days and will tell you if we need longer.

Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your personal data properly, please raise it with our Data Protection Officer first so we can look into it.
